What is the Full Form of SSC MTS?
Introduction
SSC MTS stands for Staff Selection Commission Multi Tasking Staff. It is a national level examination conducted by the Government of India to recruit Multi-Tasking Staff in various departments of the central government.
Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS Exam
The eligibility criteria for the SSC MTS exam are as follows:
- Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of matriculation from a recognized board.
- Age limit should be between 18 to 25 years.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disability (PwD) categories are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit.
Selection Procedure of SSC MTS Exam
The selection procedure of the SSC MTS exam consists of two stages i.e. Tier I and Tier II.
- Tier I: Tier I is a computer-based test consisting of questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness.
- Tier II: Tier II is a descriptive paper which is conducted to check the writing skills of the candidates.
Syllabus of SSC MTS Exam
The syllabus of SSC MTS exam includes topics from General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. Some of the topics are:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: Series, Analogy, Classification, Coding-Decoding, Problem Solving, etc.
- Numerical Aptitude: Number System, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Average, Ratio and Proportion, etc.
- General English: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Spotting Errors, Fill in the Blanks, Para jumbles, etc.
